Dream Interpretation – The Meaning and Importance of the Symbolic Dream Language

When you read a document in a foreign language, you don’t try to guess the meaning of what you are reading. If you don’t know this language, everything is incomprehensible for you.

You know that if you want to understand what is written there, you have to translate it into your own language.

However, when you see your dreams, even though they are incomprehensible to you, you can recognize many things that belong to your daily life, since the unconscious mind that produces your dreams uses objects and people that belong to your environment in order to give you symbolic messages.

You see your wallet for example, and you believe that the dream is talking about your financial problems. You see your friends, and you believe that the dream is giving you information about your relationship with them. You see many other things that belong to your daily life, and you immediately associate the dream images with the outside world, without knowing how to interpret them.

If you would care about learning the real meaning of your dreams, you would discover that only the scientific method of dream interpretation really translates the dream messages, while all other dream interpreters simply give you their personal opinion about the meaning of your dreams.

You would also realize that the dream language is a totally different language, made with images instead of words, and that you must translate these images to your own language if you want to understand the meaning of your dreams.

You would discover that your wallet represents your faith and that your friends represent parts of your own personality that have similar characteristics in common with them.

You would also understand how really absurd are all the attempts of all the ignorant dream interpreters that give you explanations based on their suppositions, the same way that you would consider someone absurd if they tried to guess the meaning of a document written in a foreign language that they ignored.

However, the dream language, which is made with images that belong to your daily life, doesn’t seem to be totally different from your conscious language made with words.

Since you see familiar objects and people you know in your dreams, you believe that you can understand “something” about what the dream is telling you, as if you could understand a few words of a certain document written in a foreign language.

Still, it would be absurd on your part if you did try to translate a foreign document to your own language just because you could understand a few words of it, like “yes”, “no” and “thank you”…

You shouldn’t dare to translate a document written in a foreign language if you don’t know it well, especially if it has a different alphabet, like the Greek and the Chinese language, that don’t have a Latin origin.

But when you examine your dreams and you see the things you possess, and you see that you are doing things that belong to your daily activities, you cannot look at the dream images as if they were completely symbolic and you were not able to decipher their meaning at all.

This is a very common mistake!

You have first of all to learn all the dream symbols and the tactics to discover the meaning of the images that don’t belong to the known collection of archetypes, before daring to translate your dreams.

Don’t be like all subjective dream interpreters that don’t care about exactly translating the meaning given to the dream images by the unconscious mind that produces them.

Be intelligent, and learn how to exactly decipher the hidden meaning of your dreams, without trying to guess anything.

The messages you’ll translate are precious, and they will teach you many things that you ignore, while if you try to interpret your dreams based on your suppositions, you won’t receive the benefits you could have.
